Could you figure it out?

I was thinking this might be a funny yet puzzling idea for my 4d.  Although, I want people to interact without a chance of being injured.  Still thinking about the concept in general and how I could even pull an idea like this off! We will see......

Where do i fit... or do i?

With this 2d work i wanted to play with puzzle pieces without taking the puzzle away from the piece.  I decided to start by just covering each piece up by painting it gold and then covering the pieces with colored tissue paper. Leaving one piece behind to rebel the others, it was painted with gold and silver tones.  I wanted the puzzle to be incomplete, to not fit and for the viewer to be puzzled with why the one piece is different from all the rest.  To try and figure the situation out.  I am hoping i get the feedback i intend for, though i am still not completely satisfied with this work.  Hoping for more inspiration with the 3d and 4d processes.

Be the Orange Fish

What is being rebellious? Should we swim away from the pack and lead our own path?
I believe that being rebellious is being yourself, creating individuality.

Having some trouble with my three words in class, I decided to just play a little with different supplies to get my creative mind flowing.  I then began at home to google the words to find images and different meanings for each of them.  Puzzled and forming or calculating has related strongly though I feel as if rebellious is hard to incorporate. Creating a tic-tac-toe board with images of rebellious women in each square was a start to merge all three words.  Beginning another 2D project has me stumped.  I am working with a puzzle with the concept of a piece rebelling from the puzzle as a whole.  Still I am not very happy with the piece so I am continuing to play with this idea.  ( a photo will come later when I am satisfied) Planning on creating a puzzle for people to interact with is where I intend for this project to go, although getting there is a slow process for me.  A slider puzzle was my original idea but as I go along in this process it may change significantly.
